Electronic Cigarettes have become a National Epidemic

I think we all know tobacco companies are spending billions of dollars to put their products in front of kids! You have seen the commercials, media ads, the posters. Did you pay attention? Did you realize your kids were?? Starring at them, enticing them, sparking their curiosity.

I mean Vaping/Smoking is “cool”…NOT!!

This post was sponsored by voro.com as part of Vaping Trends in Teens in New York.  All opinions expressed in my post are my own.

In September 2018, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration declared youth use of electronic cigarettes to be a national epidemic!!

According to data from the 2018 New York State Youth Tobacco Survey (NYS‐YTS), over 27% of high school students report current use of electronic cigarettes (e‐cigarettes) and similar devices, a 160% increase from the 2014 prevalence of 10.4%. i don’t know about you but those stats are scary (excerpt here).

For all the children out there who are considering it.

For all the kids out there who think it is the “cool” thing to do.

For my son who has to grow up in this community.

For the countless smokers who wish they had never started.

Help make New York a better place by discouraging vaping in our youth!!
