I am a HUGE fan of both Hershey Chocolate with Almond bars and brownies. Hands down two of my favorite things! I once ended a relationship after they snarked at me for eating more than one brownie in a sitting. Listen I like desserts guys what can I say! That is not why you clicked on this page so let’s move on from my personal stories and tell you about this Hershey’s Chocolate Brownie Recipe. First of all YUM, secondly can someone come make another batch for me? I swear my family eats these puppies in two point four seconds as my teenager would say.
What you will need to make this Hershey’s Chocolate Brownie Recipe:
3/4 cup unsalted butter Melted
1 Hershey’s Chocolate Almond bar broken up into pieces, melted
( If you make the “frosting” you will need another Hershey Chocolate bar)
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup Coco powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl ( I used a glass cup) add the butter and broken up Hershey bar pieces and place in the microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. In a larger mixing bowl add all of the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, brown sugar, coco powder, baking soda, salt along with the melted mixture. Next add your eggs. Mix all the ingredients until combined. The mixture will be thick and have a sticky consistency.
Spray a oven pan I used a 9×13 and add your mixture to it. I place it in my oven for 25-30 minutes or until cooked all the way through. On this particular night I did also melt another Hershey bar with a dash of olive oil and spread it out on top of the brownies once they cooled. This is optional but I will say it brings the flavor up a notch so I would recommend it.
