Halos has graciously sent us some of their delicious mandarins to make a Wonderful Halos Holiday Tree Craft! It has been a nice tradition collaborating with them since we enjoy their products so much. Want more crafts? Check out the fun Wonderful Halos Holiday Snowman Craft we did last year!
What you’ll need to make Halos holiday festive trees:
wonderful halos mandarins
a small cake stand or platter
adhesive dots
toothpicks
snips of greenery (such as arborvitae, boxwood, or pine)
ribbon or twine
scissors tags (optional)
Full directions are on the Halos website, I am simply relaying this awesome craft idea.
Here are their Instructions:
To make the first row: Place an adhesive dot on the bottom of a Wonderful Halos mandarin and adhere it to the center of your cake stand. Place glue dots on the bottom of six more Halos mandarins and place them on the cake stand to surround the one in the center.
To make the second row: Grab 7 more Halos mandarins and place glue dots on the sides of six mandarins to adhere them in a ring around the others. Place a few glue dots on the mandarins in the first row and place the new row on top, turned, so that the rows are staggered.
To make the third row: Use 5 toothpicks to poke 5 Halos mandarins together into a circle and place on top.
To make fourth row: Use 3 toothpicks to poke 3 Halos mandarins together into a triangle, and place on top. To make the top: Poke a piece of greenery into the top of a single Halos mandarin and place it on top.
