We had an absolute fabulous time at Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards picking SnapDragon apples! If you haven’t been following along, we have been harvesting as many fruits locally as we can. From Peaches, Cherries, Grapes to Now SnapDragon Apples! What a fun Fall thing to do: Harvesting SnapDragon Apples at Becker Farms, am I right?
Couple of things before you head out to the Becker Farms in Buffalo, New York. They charge per person when coming to visit but that includes a slew of activities. From Apple Picking, bounce floor, live music to brewed beverages and even Wine made right on the farm! Fun for the whole family. They do offer 10 minute parking for those of you just looking to grab a few local treats.
The Western New Yorker website has the privilege of partnering with SnapDragon Apples this year! They are the official apple of the Buffalo Bills. If you know my family, this football team is near and dear to our hearts ♥. That is not the only thing that makes them unique. Have you seen the SnapDragon logo?? Talk about a fantasy lovers dream. But the crisp taste of these apples are just divine. My son has one in his lunch or after school every day.
Don’t just take my word for it, go and try some Sanpdragon apples yourself. Better yet load up the family and take a day trip doing all the Fall things at Becker Farms! We were blessed with great weather on our visit. Since it is New York and some of you might not be local they are also sold locally at Wegmans, Whole Foods and Aldi just to name a few.
