When searching for a place to stay for my anniversary trip we came across the Allegiance Bed & Breakfast in Mt. Morris, New York. This houses beautiful Victorian styled rooms, lovely gardens, delicious food and is so relaxing. The owners are friendly and super welcoming. I was so impressed with the grounds that I felt it needed a stand alone article!
Next reason I booked the Allegiance Bed & Breakfast, was the breakfast. Of course, the photos about this location were inviting but having breakfast already taken care of is so appealing to me. As a Mom, getting a break from cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner is such a treat! Seriously, take a look at this quiche we were served one morning, ( pictured above) yum! Did I also mention they are pet freindly?
Not to mention the local areas that surround this accommodation is within a short drive. From Wine trails to State parks this area packs a punch. We wanted some adventure mixed with some tasty meals and drinks! One day we hiked the State parks saw waterfalls, did a little fishing and enjoyed a nice sit down fancy dinner. Another day we went antiquing and hit the wine trail it was so nice to have so many options.
One of the closest State Parks is the Mount Morris Dam and Letchworth State Park. I have spoken about both in a few other articles if you are interested in a more details. If you are visiting the area for the first time I would recommend a stop.
I could never down play the Finger Lake Wine Country and Wine trails! We love Ice Wine and visiting all of the local wineries, breweries and distilleries are so much fun. If you are not into drinking, they also have fun antique stores and delicious restaurants along the trails. Did I mention the views?
From historic comforts, with modern amenities and centrally located by so many great attractions the Allegiance Bed and Breakfast truly is a great place to stay. While some of my travels are funded this one was one I did not get compensated to talk about. I just feel extremely thankful for our trip to the area and hope many of you also experience this place.
