Chicken with Spinach in Creamy Parmesan Sauce Recipe
This Chicken with Spinach in Creamy Parmesan Sauce is just a must try! I love finding meals that use several of the ingredients we already have on hand. Feel free to interchange any items to fit your personal tastes.
What you will need:
1-3/4 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
1 diced onion
1 package of Chicken ( I used drumsticks we had in the freezer but use what you have)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 half of a small Heavy Cream which is about 1-2 cups
1 can of diced tomatoes ( I used a handful of fresh Cherry tomatoes cut in half)
Completely optional a few mushrooms sliced
Handful of fresh spinach
Place chicken in a oven pan and bake at 370 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Combine heavy cream, seasonings and all diced items into a bowl. Place the mixture in a skillet and let simmer. towards the end of baking your chicken.
Once chicken is baked place in the skillet with the sauce. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions. The sauce does not take long to thicken around 5-10 minutes tops. I add parmesan and spinach next, let them cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve by placing the chicken and sauce on top of the noodles.
