What you will need:
8 oz. Cremini Mushrooms (sliced)
2 Green Peppers (halved)
8 oz. Italian Sausage Links (sliced)
6 fl. oz. Marinara Sauce
2 oz. Shredded Mozzarella
Place green bell pepper halves on prepared baking sheet. Add 1 tsp. olive oil and mushrooms to hot pan. Stir occasionally until lightly brown. The remove from burner. Transfer sausage to a plate and wipe pan clean.
Return pan to stove over medium heat. Heat 1 tsp. olive oil in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Add Italian sausage to hot pan. Stir occasionally, breaking up meat, until browned.
Stir in Italian sausage, marinara, and a pinch of salt.
Distribute filling evenly among pepper halves and top with cheese. Roast until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly, and peppers are tender.
