We have been busy in the kitchen creating recipes! Keeping from using the oven during the heat waves have been tricky. Luckily I was blessed with a Instant pot and have really put it to the test!
Today I created a great Roast stew using a few ingredients I had in the pantry.
What you will need:
1 cup water
1 Pepper
1 onion
Mushrooms
Chuck roast
2 Garlic cloves diced
Flakes of parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
Dice everything and add to your pot.
I lay the roast on top. I also do not cut off the fatty parts to give extra flavoring.
Pour water in, season and turn the pot on. I use the cooking feature.
My Instant pot has a few settings but I used the hour cooking time. This seems to make the roast cook all the way through and brings out the flavoring.
I drain the contents onto plates. Such a easy recipe but has great flavoring and we didn’t have to use the oven!
Serve & Enjoy!
