Grilled Pesto Sandwich with Roasted Walnuts

First off this is NOT my recipe. I got this from a Blue Apron box we enjoyed. If you are interested in this meal box enjoy my review here. This recipe right here sends me into a wonderfully tasty food coma! Hands down the easiest recipe and packed full of flavor! Grilled Pesto Sandwich with Roasted Walnuts!!

What you will need:

Crushed Walnuts

Grated Parmesan Cheese

Sour dough bread slices

Parsley flakes

Creamy butter

Cheese

Olive oil

First start by roasting crushed walnuts in a pan with parsley flakes, Parmesan cheese and olive oil. Once they are nice and crispy place in a bowl to scoop onto your sandwich.

I like to slice my cheese up first and then add to my bread. Butter one side of the bread and lay cheese on the other side.

I also created a cheese plate for my party while I was making these since they do not take much time at all!

Then spoon the pesto mixture over the cheese. Place another piece of bread on it and fry. Pretty easy to make because most of us know how to make grilled cheese.

I let cool before slicing and serving to my guests.

Get ready for a flavored packed spin on grilled cheese!

This looks so tasty!!! And something so different! I've never had nuts in a sandwich before or thought to add them so I'm definitely keen to try

These look delectable – I'll have to add in a soy or nut based cheesed and it'll be perfect. The walnuts must add such a nice crunch.
