Recipe: Nautical Beach Jello Cups

My son wanted Nautical themed foods for his birthday this year. One afternoon this idea popped in my head and truth be told I was not sure if they would turn out. Luckily they were so easy I thought I would share them with you.

These  Beach Jello Cups would be great at any Nautical Summer party gathering!

What you will need:

Jello boxes ( I will say two boxes fill about 6-9 of these dollar store cups)

Swedish Fish

Gram crackers

Optional: Fun umbrellas

Optional: Nautical themed gummies ( I used sharks, turtles and lobster candies)

Boil your water and add the jello packets using the directions on the Jello boxes. I only filled them half way to add the “beach sand” once they cooled. Drop 2-3 Swedish fish in them and then place them in the refrigerator over night.

Break a few gram cracker until they have a sand like consistency. I added both small and large pieces to give it texture. Next, just drop in a beach gummy and umbrella.

None of the cups I created were the same.

I used different textures, colors and gummies.

They are such a great way to make your party look very well put together without going over board. They are SUPER easy and fast to make!

Just remember to put them out right before you are ready to eat because they will liquefy again in hot temperatures.  Serve and enjoy!
