Stanton South Beach Hotel Review

A few short weeks ago I took a trip to the Dominica Republic. I was asked to review the new Fathom Cruise line. This gave me the wonderful excuse to also enjoy Miami, Florida once I was in port!  Another place to mark off my bucket list and an excuse to stay in the luxurious Hotel. Only steps from the white sandy beaches, the boutique-style Stanton South Beach hotel balances Miami’s city life with the relaxing, beach vibe. I checked in around 3 pm just in time for a quick look around. Thoughts about my room you ask?  Be greeted with fine linens, fabulous 1950’s style décor mixed with recently remodeled modern flare.

The bathroom was given a spa-like feel complete with toiletries. Finishing off this room with a waterfall shower head. A girl could get used to such pampering. My view you ask? What Penthouse would be complete without a panoramic view of both the city and beach front? Enjoy the turquoises waves from a far or venture down and enjoy them up close. There is also a swanky little park along side the hotel creating a tropical feeling making you almost forget you are close to the heart of the city.

In case you enjoy a city view these balconies will not disappoint. Simply sit outside with a great cup of coffee and watch the waves or city life! I may have done this and just enjoyed silence from my normal hectic schedule. Then again one cannot simply absorb for too long. I decided to enjoy a sunset swim! Soaking every bit of sun before my departure to the snowy lands in New York. I met some lovely travelers who ended up taking me out to dinner that night! Everything about the beachfront life is inviting. From the accommodating staff who grace you with beach towels and beach umbrellas to the miles of great activities you can emerge yourself in.

After saying goodbye to my new found friends I retired back to this view for the night. Ordered some room service and enjoyed Netflix shows on my Smart flat screen in my room! This was a first since most hotels only offer select cable channels. A perk I could get used too and thoroughly enjoyed!
