Travel to Wild Florida Wildlife Park

Travel to Wild Florida Wildlife Park

I have visited Kissimmee Florida ever since I was a small child. Not once had I seen cattle or farmlands similar to those back in Western New York like I did on the way to Wild Florida Wildlife Park.

Cypress hike

After we checked in for our Air boat tour we decided to wait in the Wildlife Park. We first set off through the Hawk Swamp. This park is rather large and requires time. We could have spent all day there and wished we had!

Cypress trees

Although we did not see any hawks, we did see several creatures both flying, crawling and slithering. This is a lovely escape and worth a gander, if you like those kinds of things 😉

Peacock

Once inside the main area you can walk among animals.

Enjoy the aviary. This green beauty was lovely but did bite…a few times..eeek!

Petting Zoo

This lovely one hopped on my shoulder which rather surprised me. Not only that but it stayed there…. Completely content and did not want to leave my side. After I explained we lived 17 hours away it decided to stay in the warm climate!

Wildlife Park

We also quickly feed some animals including this goat before our tour was ready to board.

Wild Florida airboats

We sat and waited only a short time for our family to be called. The view of the docks were awesome. We even saw some gators on the banks as we walked to the boats.

Once on the boat you are provided with ear protection… use them!

This was by far one of the coolest things I have ever done in my life thus far!! It is unlike any boat tour/ride we ever took.

We saw a family of bald eagles, gators, herons and other wildlife.

We zipped this way and that through the reeds.

Travel to Wild Florida

I would recommend a jacket or sweater because it can get windy.

Airboat ride

Although not a tour the guides do stop and point things out which I loved. I felt this added to the overall experience! Shout out to our tour guide, he rocked!

A storm started to brew and the lightening struck as we walked into the gift shop after our ride. I didn’t mind cutting it a few minutes short because it rained rather hard for a few minutes and then let up. It was a perfect evening and wonderful experience my whole family enjoyed. I would suggest checking the weather but other then that get your butt outside and take an air boat ride!!

What an exciting place to visit! That peacock is gorgeous. How exciting to ride the air boat out into the marsh and swamp! Super Cool!
