Traveling to the brick laid streets of historic Saint Augustine, Florida? Are you just escaping the Northern chill? If you want to enjoy the sandy beaches and sun but still want to stay close to town try the Holidayisle Oceanfront Resort.
Need a little encouragement? How about these views??
After a 17 hour car ride/drive this was such a sight! Living in New York has advantages but nothing really beats the first time you lay eyes on a sunny beach. Not seeing the sun for months at a time can really take it out of you.
We were so spoiled in this suite with nice sized beds and glamorous bedding. I know this might not seem like a big deal but for some who enjoy a good nights rest it is a must have! These beds were so amazing I wanted to pack them up and take them with me…no joke!
And if you are wondering my six year old gave his approval too. Every night he laid down and about five minutes later he was fast asleep.
I would also like to take this time and mention the coffee. It is an important part of my every morning ritual. I am not a morning person so good coffee is a must and I have to say they have it! I never once had to purchase coffee from the store because our room was neatly stocked. They also had a few flavors to choose from. I will say I did purchase French Vanilla creamer down the street at Publix. But, I didn’t mind because we had to go there anyway 😉
This was my morning and evening resting spot! The resort is located near shuttles that run to the Old City ! We decided on driving ourselves each day we traveled to the city but they have a few options if you didn’t want to drive.
