These fun Harry Potter Inspired Golden Snitch are great for Valentine’s or Party treat bags!! My son is an avid lover of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast series. He enjoys creating our own versions of the mythical creatures and magic items. If you have a wizard or witch in your family be sure to make these with them.
What you will need to create these Harry Potter Inspired Golden Snitch:
Golden foil papers (found ours at Hobby Lobby in the candy section)
White paper
Valentine’s or Gift cards ( we found ours at the Dollar Tree)
Glue gun
First, wrap each Bouncy ball with the golden papers.
Trace out wings for each ball. I traced a template then went back and added some details.
Hot glue each wing onto the golden ball.
Set them up on the side to allow the glue to dry as shown above.
Place a snitch in each treat bag and tie off. We also drew a snitch onto the cards and a saying for a Valentine’s Day treat bag. My son is six and he helped with every step excluding the hot glue so this is a very hands on child friendly craft.
