Once, I landed in San Diego and settled to jet lag I set off to explore. I had never been to California and wanted to sight see! I headed down to the harbor and found this amazing statue. There was easy to find parking and I set off to try out a cruise.
I decided to take on the 2 hour Flagship cruise.
Visiting both the North and South bay tours!
Flagship harbor tours are a beautiful way to enjoy the
San Diego Bay.
The North Bay highlights: The San Diego skyline, Seals by the Bait pits, Star of India and the iconic ships of the
Maritime Museum, Harbor Island, Shelter Island and North Island Naval
Air Station.
I enjoyed the scenery, planes and helicopters taking off and landing. It was such a great way to enjoy the nice sunny California weather. Once our first hour tour was over we stopped back at port.
The South Bay Highlights: U.S.S. Midway Aircraft Carrier, U.S. Navy Surface Fleet, Coronado
waterfront, Naval Amphibious Base Coronado (home of the Navy SEAL’s) and
the Coronado Bay Bridge.
I loved the curve of this bridge! It is high in scale and magnificent.

What I liked: I enjoyed the scenery, tour information given. The staff was friendly and very informative. They offered t take photos and made the experience that much more inviting. It was a great way to view a city I had never visited before.
What could be Improved: I personally should have separated my cruises and did one at a time. Two hours with jet lag was a bit much for me.
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
What a nice tour of San Diego! I have a nephew in the Navy and he should be back to that port in a few months. Thank you for sharing with the Clever Chicks Blog Hop! I hope you’ll join us again next week!

San Diego harbor looks like it would be so much fun to visit. Anything in a warm area on the water is bound to be a good time. San Diego is on our bucket list, so who knows, maybe one day we'll get to go. 🙂
