The Island of Adventures is one park located within Universal Studios. It has seven individually themed islands, each with its own rides, restaurants and shops. Here are the seven located within:
Explore The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Hogsmeade)
Marvel Super Hero Island®
Toon Lagoon®
Jurassic Park®
The Lost Continent®
Seuss Landing
We headed right for the Jurassic Park® since my son is such a fan! They have fun fossils, sound effects and displays to see along the path to each attractions.
Pteranodon Flyers was one
of our favorite rides, aside from the World of Harry Potter! We did not have to wait to long but the line does tend to gather as it only loads 2 people on at a time (adult, child). You soar high above the park, flying
like a Pteranadon would have!
We also loved the amazing replica of the Jurassic Park® Discovery Center! This was amazing to see brought to life from the big movie screen! We even learned how our DNA was transformed into Dino DNA!
We then headed to my son’s favorite part of our Florida trip the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hogsmeade. My full review is located here!
This place is truly breath taking and magical because you are stepping into the movie and book pages.
What we liked about this Park overall: They had rides my son could ride on!! He was five at the time and this park was definitely more appealing to him. We visited some of the other attractions but really stayed in these two for most of the day. There is so much to see, take in you really need more then just one day!
What could be Improved: There is a lot of walking so keep that in mind when bringing children! Wear comfortable shoes and travel light some rides do not allow them. They do provide lockers throughout the park!
Pteranodon Flyers was
one of our favorite rides of the entire day and it was the last ride we
went on. I’ll tell you, the wait was a little long for us because you
can only load 2 people on at a time but it’s worth it. This is a really
gentle and beautiful ride that flies you high above the park, flying
like a Pteranadon would have. – See more at:

Sounds like such an amazing trip! My whole family would absolutely love the Harry Pitter area and I am looking forward to checking it out in a few years 😄
