On our travels we stopped at the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls in Canada.

We have always seen it from a far but never really went up to check it out. I suffer from motion sickness and I have always worried whether it would bother me or not.Luckily, I had no problems at all!

It takes a 52 second ride up a glass elevator to be 775 feet above the Falls.

The views start to unravel as you venture up. The ride is so quick you barely realize how high you are until you walk out of the elevator.

The views are worth the trip!

Horseshoe Falls

Close up with the Maid of the Mist.

What we enjoyed: The views are spectacular! It is worth seeing the Falls from a different height and capturing them via photos. I enjoyed the freedom to walk around the top deck without feeling rushed, cramped or claustrophobic.

What could be Improved: I wish there was a way to get to the restaurant via stairs or a pathway instead of riding the elevator back down and getting on another elevator.

Overall Rating: Definitely worth a ride! 4.7 our of 5 stars!

Since I watch Superman when I was little, I have always wanted to go there. My husband always makes fun of me because I have never been and he's been several times. I WILL make it there one day. It looks beautiful!

So cool! I went to Niagara Falls when I was little, but I'd love to go back and bring my kids. They would love riding the elevator up to see this view. Thanks for the review and for sharing.

I haven't actually hung out in Niagara falls in years (though we drove through on our way back from Toronto a few weeks ago). It sounds like you had a fantastic time!

It looks like you had a great trip! I've always wanted to go there, maybe when my boys are older we will.
