Need some Campfire Breakfast Recipe ideas? I have loved to camp since I was very young. From tent camping to RV life we have done it all. I try to come up with flavorful meals that have ingredients for each trip. These are just a few examples of campfire breakfast recipes ideas we have cooked up in the past.
Any Campfire Breakfast usually starts with the basic:
Eggs
Bacon
Peppers (diced)
Small Onion (diced)
From there you can build or substitute with what you have available to you. Often times we scan farm stands on the way to our destinations. This gives us the fresh produce we might need and help supplement our meals. I try to always bring frozen meal in a cooler, water and spices. Everything else we usually get along the way to our campsite.
Scramble in a Cast Iron frying pan over the open campfire. I always bring my seasoned cast iron pan to ALL of our camp outs. I just scrub it down with coconut oil and let it soak in. I never wash it with dish soap because I found that makes it rust. I use a pot holder so my hands do not get burnt. There is nothing like pipping hot breakfast from a campfire!
