We were lucky enough to have the Rio Brands Total Sunblock 9′ Umbrella to try out and use! I want to start off by saying we are big outdoors people. From fishing, hunting, camping to sporting events, as a family, we do it all! Last year our Umbrella bit the dust, literally when high winds crash it to it’s broken demise! After that debacle I was so excited to receive a light weight easy to compact one!
We had it in the sporting or beach angle at first. I have to say how impressed I am with how easy it is to setup and carry around. It also has a zippered mesh window to let in a Summer breeze.
Here is another shot of the window from outside the umbrella. This was the first time I had seen this and I love it. Especially on the beach when humidity is high!
According to their website the outside material is also lab tested to block 99.8% UVA and UVB rays!! This is a great feature for my family who tends to burn quite easy outside even with sunscreen on!
It has 2 positions—as a leaning shelter or a traditional umbrella like shown above. This is a very large umbrella but super light weight. It really is a perfect addition to events, outdoors and our travels! I highly recommend you check out this and some of the other products they have here!
