Took at trip for Spring Break to the Canadian side of the Falls. This time we decided to try a new hotel and stayed at the Sheraton on the Falls. When entering over the Rainbow Bridge from New York you can immediately see the fabulous hotel. It is simply stunning in elegance with all the tinted windows reflecting sunshine up to the skyline.
After checking in we traveled up to the 14th floor via the White door elevators. Since we had never stayed in a Sheraton before it was a bit exciting to see what our room was going to look like. Luxury was not spared as you enter a room with clean, spa like amenities. Padded head boards, down comforters and sleep worthy pillows. Moving towards the window was a nice living room area including a fireplace. Since it was winter like weather this was a nice touch to make the room cozy.
Hands down best part of this suite, the VIEW. They surprised us with a Falls view that was amazing all hours of the day! Sunrise to sunset this was entertaining and relaxing to just watch the water fall. My five year old was so excited by the view he constantly looked out the windows during our stay. They offer room service which we needed to experience! I ordered the Canadian breakfast. The staff was friendly, poured my coffee and set up a breakfast.
Since I was here to review the facility I wanted to try out several of the different amenities. We headed to the 14th floor indoor pool area. This also included a capturing view of the Falls and Clifton Hill. They provide towels and it is only around 3.5 feet deep. During our stay it was on the cold side so we just splashed our feet and took in the view. What we enjoyed: Free TV, International & local calls, Free Computer usage a Starbucks coffee shop located on premises. We LOVED the Falls view and would splurge to enjoy that again! Clean, luxurious, high end finishes and touches throughout. They also offer a Starwood preferred rewards membership!
What could be Improved (I always try to include some productive criticism): This Hotel was amazing! Perhaps a Nick Jr channel for younger viewers who are to young for Cartoon Network shows. Did you find my Sheraton On the Falls in Canada Review helpful? I encourage you to book a stay!
