The New Year is almost here and I wanted to share how we will be “ringing” it in. I was a lucky gal because this lovely party kit was sent over to announce a special Netflix event. They just came out with a new series called All Hail King Julien! I was rather excited to share this kit with my five year old as he is into all this dancing, partying and decoration fun!
“King Julien is back and shaking his booty harder than ever! Discover the
wild world of Madagascar as the king takes on the jungle’s craziest
adventures in this comedy series“. This series are recommended for ages 11 to 12. It does have adult humor for the older audiences so keep that in mind before watching.
This month we have been really reflecting on the year as a whole. By showing Mac, my five year old, some of the movies we grew up with.
Luckily Netflix has a bunch to choose from!
Here are a few we have been watching:
“Wayne spends his days and nights trying to get his miniaturization
machine to work, and he succeeds — only to shrink his and his
neighbor’s kids”.
“When Derice Bannock’s chances of qualifying for Jamaica’s track team are
dashed, he and his islander friends attempt to form a bobsled team”.
“When bullied teen Daniel LaRusso teams with a martial arts master, he
ends up learning much more than just self-defense in this classic
underdog tale”.

I have used Netflix to catch up on old TV shows and movies I might not have caught as a kid. I enjoy a few new shows, but nowhere near as many new shows as I used to! Subscribing to Netflix helps me not have to subscribe to cable. ๐
I'm lucky to have watched all 3 movies you posted. They bring back some great memories of watching them with family. I don't have Netflix, but have heard nothing but good things about it!
Coming over from the link-up ๐ I'm a bit excited that you are in Western New York! I'm up North near Watertown (about and hour north of Syracuse). You're the first I've found in the blogging world who is even remotely close to where I am! Besides those who are in NYC. I was beginning to think nobody blogged up here…
Also great movie picks ๐ Those are definitely ones that need to be shared with this next generation! Especially Cool Runnings. That one was one of my favorites growing up (and it still is!)
