Madame Tussauds in NYC Review #Sponsored

This past weekend we took a visit to Madame Tussauds on Broadway in New York City. Pretty easy to find & they are lite up by a bright sign with a hand at the very top. I will say there is usually a line outside the building so be prepared. We stopped in around 11am, snapped some photos whilst waiting in line for our tickets. If you ordered tickets online you are whisked to the V.I.P section, a little added perk!

Once you receive your tickets you start up a stairway to the elevators. They do have accessibility to elevators all the way up for those who need them but we took the stairs first. Once on the second platform you are herded into a glass elevator. This has an awesome view of Broadway as it moves upward. I would just keep in mind if you do not care for heights skip this step and use the service elevators because it is high up.

After you get off the elevator you are placed in a big ballroom with Wax figures! I was so focused on taking off my winter clothing, I almost ran into the wax figures because in this lighting, they look real.

Robert Pattinson….Twilight Fans, where are you??  I don’t know about you but he’s HOTT!!!

Throughout the museum you will see “ropes & poles have gone so guests can truly get up close and personal with A-list celebrities, sports legends, political heavyweights and historical icons, reliving times, events and moments that made the world talk about them”.

So as you move around the establishment grab your friends, family and shoot some pictures with them. You can take some fun pictures & really play around. We sure did!

Then we came to “I Love Lucy” figure and I was super excited. As, always I have to stop, read the plaque next to her because I’m from where she grew up. I always like to see if they mention my town or not. Scanning, scanning, yep, there it is Jamestown NY!!

Did I mention you can play around with some of the great staged sets?

They have several throughout the facility. I will say this wax museum makes you a bit paranoid because the figures look so real. If you are planning a trip Save 15% Off Admission to Madame Tussauds in New York – Valid for up to 8 people here.

I have to stop here, they have an exhibit dedicated to 911 & I really appreciated this.

Marvel Super Heroes 4D Movie was something we also went & experienced. “Follow your favorite Super Heroes and experience a short 3D film with thrilling 4D special effects“. This had special effects that I haven’t experienced which was a nice surprise.

What we liked: We enjoyed the Life like wax figures.

You can go up to the figures, see the wrinkles, freckles and tattoos.

What could be improved: The wait time can be long so keep that in mind. I did wish they had maybe a tour available for fun facts & information.
