Macy’s Kids Event #Macysbts #sponsored

This is Mclachlan’s first year attending school officially! It was a hard last week for this stay at home Mom, who is used to never having an once of free time to hours of it! To celebrate such a great milestone week we decided to head out to the Macy’s #MacysBTS Kids event in Cheektowanga, NY (Buffalo).

 They were housing a fun filled event showing off what’s trending for boys & girls this school year. They were also running special back to school promotions of gift with purchase, crafts & games!

We were super excited to go since we had never been to an event before!

 Our first stop was face painting. The lady was amazing, her creations had all the kids smiling but we suddenly got distracted from her line…

 Two words, BALLOON Animals! Who doesn’t love them? 

My son is a super big fan so off we went with our creation.

 We sat and listened to an enthusiastic story teller about an Ice cream stand. 

Afterwords she gave us ice cream crafts to take with, 

along with a copy of the book she read. 

This Mom was so impressed (we ♥ reading)!

 Then came the BIG event. Radio Disney was in the house! Mac jumped right in and started playing some of the fun games they had in “store” for kids.

Never could hula hoop a day in his life but next to all the kids he was!

The music, energy got all the kids & parents joining in to sing, dance & play games.

This is where we ended our Back to School event. I have to say we were both exhausted from this is such a good way. Just a wonderful event to take your child too. We got so much great stuff! Celebrating a new start with him in school & all the fun fashion trends they have in his size!
