How to Make Raspberry Jam
8 cups of mashed raspberries
8 cups of sugar
Wash the raspberries and then mash them in a nice big pan. They will double in size once they start to heat and liquify. Place mashed raspberries in a pot and bring them to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add sugar. Stir well. Bring to a boil again, stirring constantly for two minutes.
Remove from heat. Beat for four minutes. Then place in containers.
Serve & Enjoy!
I always love raspberry season. I don't have much room to grow them and there is only one place here you can do U Pick raspberries. They may have a small fall crop in a handful of weeks. This was an easy recipe – I've never seen a recipe with cornstarch. Do you keep these in the freezer or frig after canning?. Alana visiting from UBC.
Sounds delicious! My mom always made a lot of jams and jellies – nothing beats homemade, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing!
