I was just tickled when I found out we scored tickets to Disney Live at the Quicken Loans Arena! We had just went their last month for a Monster Truck event. I was sure this was going to be fun and entertaining for both Mac and us. Unfortunately, I have gotten rather sick in the last few days so we started out our 2 1/2 hour trip late and just by the skin of our skinny skin, skin, got there on time.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy were out dancing and singing ready to Rock n’ Roll. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the show because I have never been to one of these before. Mac sat intently on my lap as we watched the different acts unfold.
Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and The Genie made an appearance. I will say the characters are very detailed and the actors and actresses are very talented both vocally and dance wise.
Sebastian, Prince Eric and Ariel joined in as well.
I really enjoyed (as well as Mac) the upbeat number the Mermaids performed. For those of you reading this it was a cover of “All the Single Ladies”, rather entertaining if I do say so myself! I also really loved the neon black light performance but it really was not something you could photograph well. Sorry guys, guess you have to go see the show!
Then came Toy Solders. I really enjoyed this part and would say this was my favorite act of the show. Sheriff Woody came out with Jessie and Bulls eye and stole the show. The jump roping was amazing, it really was. It was pure talent, timing and they executed it perfectly. I held my breathe on several parts because it was really breath taking to watch.
We all had fun going to this event!
Mac said his favorite part was Mickey and Sheriff Woody.
Tammy said she enjoyed Sebastian and the Mermaids.
