Homemade Chicken Noodle soup recipe
What you will need:
8 cups chicken broth ( DON’T USE Wegman’s ORGANIC for this, taste funky)
3 boneless chicken breasts, chopped
3 carrots, diced
1-2 stalks of celery, diced
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon Frank’s hot sauce
2-3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Egg noodles, uncooked ( DO NOT GET eggless noodles, trust me!)
Throw all ingredients EXCEPT the noodles in the crock pot, stir,
and cook on low for 2 hours. It is especially great when you have a cute little helper!
Once the veggies are soft add the noodles and cook for another 20 minutes.
Then serve and enjoy! A great remedy for winter weather.
Definitely much healthier than the canned version! My mom used to make it with homemade egg noodles… those were good!

I am making Chicken noodle soup but my family will not touch hot sauce. I like to add a bit of ginger instead.
