Day 5: No Coat

Yesturday, was a challenge. It was on the warmer side but it was still raining. Pouring rather and without a coat it is a challenge. This video really hits a cord with me and just really shows why I have done this. I have spoke about this cause and coat drive a lot within the last few days. Including at our church. After service a family approached me and asked if we would accept coats right then and there. I of course said yes. They took the coats they had off their backs and gave them to us! I was so heart warmed and just wanted to cry. I then saw this video when I came home and just broke down. I have gone 5 days without a coat and I already have felt the effects. There are people (children) where this is not a challenge but reality. Everyday, every moment, second they are wondering when they will be warm. Because when you are cold and don’t have a coat that is all you think about. When will I be warm? You just can’t focus.
